This is not relating only to you, but also to many people who've commented here: you are thinking only on how this proposal affects YOU. Think about how it affects the entirety of low-sec as a SYSTEM. The key here is systemic thinking. I'm not saying that you should agree with it even though it's detrimental to your style of play, I'm saying you should agree with it, because when you think of low-sec as a system, you see that it ends up benefiting you more than it hurts you.
I live in Low Sec. My entire corp does. We love it here and are making huge profits.
The problem is recruiting, becouse new players cant get here. They get insta-popped by gatecampers. Each and every one of them. All the ******* time. So after one or two tries we have to go and get them, and/or give them bookmarks, and you know what a hell that is copying bookmarks dont you? And try to explain to a rather new guy what bookmarks is and how to use them, copying them, etc.... Argh. takes hours and hours that we could be playing the game instead.
Just becouse some retarded ******* wanna sit at a gate and spoil the game for everyone.
I dont mind pirates, and im talking about pirates that actually fly their ships and have some skills scanning for victims, etc. But gatecampers are just so ******* lame. They have no skills whatsoever and everyone in the game think they are retarded. They dont even have respect from pirates. They draw SHAME on pirates. They are NOT pirates. They are idiots that just cant use their brain.
Im head of security for my corp, i fight pirates every day, and i have respect for them. But gatecampers...? L O L.
If ppl could travel in low sec, low sec would be more populated, and there would be more targets for real pirates. Every good pirate know that.
And more work for us doing corp security, but hey, thats the game. We dont complain when pirates kill us, we try to kill them back. But we just cant have our security pilots camping gates to make sure ppl can travel. No one in their right mind wanna sit and hug a gate for 3 hours. And even pay for it? LOL. No way.
Remove the gatecampers, and ppl can travel. Everyone benefits from this, both us corpies that live here and pirates that feeds on us... :P
